How It All Began
From Beans to Lodge

It all started with a bold idea and a whole lot of coffee love. Kelly Bentley, a veteran in the coffee world after running Hickory Coffee Company, dreamed of creating a space that felt more like a mountain getaway than a standard café. In 2006, Blue Moose Coffee Lodge was born—offering handcrafted drinks, log-cabin vibes, and friendly faces to every person who pulled up to the window.

We’re more than our moose mascot—we’re a reflection of the community we serve. Over the years, we’ve expanded from a single lodge to a small fleet of mobile cabins that bring the Blue Moose experience to festivals, schools, fundraisers, and fun events across North Carolina.
